About the Event: 

This year we are hosting the 6th edition of Freedom Fighter Late Shri. Prem Nidhi Agrawal Memorial Essay Competition. The PNA Essay Competition is our annual flagship initiative that invites participants to engage with some of the nation’s most pressing issues through thoughtful and nuanced perspectives. Our aim is to provide a platform for students to develop in-depth knowledge through strong research and to express their insights with clarity and precision. By encouraging rigorous inquiry and refined drafting, the competition seeks to nurture informed voices capable of contributing meaningfully to contemporary discourse. 

Topic: Deepfakes, Free Speech, and State Control: Where Should India Draw the Line?

Eligibility Criteria: Students of age group 14-27

Guidelines: 

  1. Word Limit: 2500 Words [Excluding an abstract of not more than 300 words].
  2. Citation Style: Harvard Bluebook 20th Edition. Refer to the link below for citation formats:

  1. Co-authorship of up to two authors is allowed. 
  2. Zero plagiarism policy. 
  3. The Essays are to be submitted only in “Word” format. 

Prizes: 

  • Winning Essay: Cash Prize of Rs. 6,000/-, a trophy, certificate of merit and publication of the essay in GLCMUN 2026 Souvenir 
  • Second: Cash Prize of Rs. 4,000/-, a trophy and certificate of merit 
  • Third: Cash Prize of Rs. 2,000/-, a trophy and certificate of merit 

All the Participants shall receive a certificate of participation.
