Supreme Court v Constitution Acknowledging the US Courts’ Faulty Handling for the People

Introduction

When the 7 founding fathers of the United States of America came together and created the Constitution; before was the Preamble, which in detail says the people give the government the authority to be unified. For the Justice System, the goal was to establish Justice and complete domestic peace. To protect and stand by their citizens. In today’s world, the United States Supreme Court would be indistinguishable from America’s founders. For the longest of our nation’s history, the Court’s powers have always remained limited for the most part. Here we have Article III of the United States Constitution, which explains the judicial branch of the United States Constitution, and it shall be made as one Supreme Court, and in such subordinate courts to follow. (Interpretation: Article III, Section One | Constitution Center, 2026)

As a Legal Assistant myself, with a Political Science degree to match; To be a United States citizen, and a Black woman as well, there is no justice for the ‘American People’, especially those who wake up every morning to take their children to school; blue-collar jobs, meaning plumbers, electricians, and factory workers. Not those who paid their way with someone else’s money. One of the main issues that is specific to me is the Supreme Court’s horribly broken to the core. Here, the Brennan Center estimates that around 2025, Trump’s Administration has come before the court to use its authority for emergency dockets to drop the lower decisions that were made- 34 times, and only 25 of those decisions were ruled in the administration’s favor 80 percent of the time. When you appoint judges, especially if they have the power to vote on powerful cases in the land, you are NOT supposed to do it with greed. But for the American people, because it is what they deserve. There is deeply rooted hate and racism towards black and brown people and towards those who don’t view greed as good. No man is supposed to have this much power.

War Crimes

Article III, Section 2, of the U.S. Constitution states that the trial of all crimes; however, when it comes to the cases of Impeachment, it should occur by jury and would be held in which those apparent crimes have been done. (Congress.Gov, n.d.) War Crimes (i.e) crimes that against humanity which are systematic attacks on civilians, and with the proper definition is stated as acts committed as part of a entire attack against the civilian population, that includes the following: Murder, Enslavement, Torture, Rape, Enforced Disappearance; i.e. This can also occur as serious violations of international law.

Two examples that bring this topic to the forefront are: 1st, the Israel-Palestinian War, in which hundreds of Palestinian women and children died from the bombings, as well as starvation. Media personnel have been reported missing after reporting on the war. 2nd is the most recent, the United States & Israel versus Iran War. Beginning on February 28, 2026, both the U.S and Israel launched coordinated airstrikes against Iran, killing officials, women, and children. During the strikes (which are still ongoing), global shipments and energy supplies were blocked, and access was extremely limited. All of this is a blatant attack from the Trump Administration to access another country’s oil supply. And when someone does not bow down to him, he bullies them. (Fritze, 2026)

III. Crimes Against The People

During the past 4 years, the Trump administration has done more harm to the American people than good. From the 6-3 vote expanding the president’s power to fire those above independent agencies, as well as to cease temporary humanitarian relief for around 1 million or more people who have been living in the US legally to avoid pain and suffering, plus natural disasters in their home countries. Having no regrets about the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade, with the exact words ‘I was able to kill Roe v Wade’ in a social media post. (Kapur, 2023) To dictate what a woman can do with her body is abhorrent; many women have died because of Trump’s carelessness. Instead of investigating those who sexually abuse their own children or even prey on someone else’s child, like Jeffrey Epstein.

The American People are sick and tired of being lied to, manipulated, and disappointed. To create a multi-million-dollar gold ballroom while people are starving, multiple relief funds are being cut, such as welfare, and going after the DEI program is being targeted. Trump administration made so many grand gestures to get as many votes as possible and did not want to admit the truth about Project 2025, which also includes mass deportation. Children alone are being separated from their parents as young as 3 years old, with some never being seen again. ICE is receiving a $ 2 billion budget when 2 American citizens were murdered because of them, because they were protesting ICE’s wrongdoing.

Conclusion

To have one degree in Political Science/ International Relations and another in Justice Administration. I see both sides of the coin, and not all the times will it be good. Understandably, when you assume such a high power for the people, then you need to act for the people. That is why earlier I stated that our founding fathers would be appalled to see what is happening, because you cannot burn away so many bridges to the point where you are a laughing stock. Appointing greed-filled, lackluster employees who don’t know what their job is to do, but only because of buying their way in. Scaring people into submission, killing your own citizens, and constantly making things about you also represents that you are self-centered and slowly dying as well. But can make fun of another president.
